Caribbean Family Resorts And All Inclusive Deals

By Quinn Harris

Families going on vacation often flock to the Caribbean for a good time. After all, this is a place where fun and enjoyment is sine qua non and resorts would almost always have something for everybody. You can usually get the following items in a family package

Swimming pools, water slides included. Water sports in and around the beach. Children's programs and activities that involve the whole family. Meals and drinks for adults and children alike. Special care and pampering for adult travelers, such as fine dining, light cocktail parties and spas, among others. Family rates that are lower than most. Kids' services including babysitting.

With the abundance of Caribbean all inclusive family travel resorts available for consumers, you should be able to find one that would be just right for both you and your family and maximize whatever you have allotted for your holiday budget.

However, misconstrue not the term "all inclusive" as meaning that such a package would include everything. Sure, there would be breakfast, dinner and tea for everybody on the package, special programs for the kids, water sports perhaps, but do not expect to get everything and then some. Here are some considerations:

With regards to water sports, non-motorized equipments (including, but not limited to kayaks and aquatrikes) are included with no extra charge, but you may have to spend additional money for jet skis, water skis and motorized equipment.

You can usually do some snorkeling but there may be a time limit to the gear and if you desire to sign up for a boat trip you may have to pay for it.

Scuba usually ends up being extra

Unless you have booked yourself a special Caribbean travel deal of sorts, spas would cost extra.

There are certain non all inclusive packages that have meals and activities included

If you travel out of the resort you will cost you but usually there is a shuttle or a town within walking distance.

For Young Lads and Lasses

All inclusive family packages generally include one or two rooms that have everything for a child four to twelve years old -- toys, video games and of course, the telly. A friendly experienced staff is on hand to supervise them. Different packages have different programs for children based on their age group. Some of the best Caribbean family travel specials available are available in the Bahamas' Atlantis, in Punta Cana's Club Med and in several other Beach Resorts.

For Even Smaller Children

Nowadays it is much easier to find nurseries and other infant care services, as most Caribbean travel resorts carry them. It is a helpful thing for a parent because you can take a little break for yourself and leave your child taking a nap in the nursery.

There are nurses and doctors on site in the bigger travel resorts so check them out first if that is your concern. And with regards to your babies or toddlers, make multiple checks and inquiries with the resort to make sure that their baby club or kid's club will be available for your children.
